2008 Wahawk Auction Results

Although the final numbers on the 2008 Wahwk Auction have not been finalized, it looks as though approximately $110,000 was raised during this year's event. The Silent Auction brought in approximately $14,000, with the Live Auction raising almost $50,000. The remaining $46,000 came from our outstanding sponsors and donors. The evening saw 252 people in attendance, including the new Waterloo Community Schools Superintendant, Dr. Gary Norris and his wife Julie, Bob & Joyce Siddens, the new Wahawk Football Coach, Stan Wienke and his wife Robin, and large contingent from the West High Class of 1975.
The Wahawk Foundation Board is most thankful to our Community for their great support of this event, as well as to the "Wahawk Family", who continues to show their pride and dedication to past, present and fuure Wahawks!
The Foundation Board will be meeting in a few weeks to finalize this year's Auction, and to set forth on plans for the upcoming year, including the 2009 Edition of the Wahawk Auction!

Mark your Calendars! The date for the 3rd Annual Wahawk Auction has been set for Saturday, August 22nd, 2009 at the Park Place Events Center. Save that date, and come join in the fun!
